Buying Process
1. Selection
Every month over 3,000 UK sourced used cars are returned to the Lloyds TSB Group from its fleet operations. Over 100 vehicles are returned to our central depot each day, where they are checked in and reports prepared on the quality of each car.
Our experienced staff scrutinise these reports and prepare a shortlist of cars they would like to take a closer look at. The car's mileage, service history and condition are all crucial factors which will determine whether the car will be considered for sale.
Armed with the list, our selectors will personally inspect each shortlisted car before it is finally accepted.
In short, only the best cars are made available for sale to the public.
2. Inspection
Once a car has been selected, we will spend over 2.5 hours giving it a thorough valet.
But that's not all. Each vehicle receives a 120 point mechanical and electrical inspection and MOT (where applicable) prior to being put on display for sale.
3. Choice
At any one time you will find hundreds of cars to choose from, with our website updated daily to give you an accurate reflection of what we have in stock. What's more, with a large choice of models from numerous manufacturers, we're highly likely to have a car that's right for you.
If you want to have a look at a particular car in person, our experienced advisors will be happy to arrange a visit to our retail site. You can even take the car for a test drive should you wish.
4. Payment Options
Once you've decided on the car you want, you can either pay the full amount, or take advantage of our flexible finance options.
Should you choose to pay the full amount, we accept payment by building society cheque, bankers draft or debit card. This will be due on collection or delivery of the vehicle. If you would like to pay by personal cheque, we would need the funds to have cleared in our bank before we can release your vehicle.
Alternatively, financing your car is easy with a Black Horse loan. We will tailor the loan to suit you, but the basic structure includes an initial deposit, with subsequent monthly payments spread over one to five years, you may be surprised to find that you can afford a little more than you thought!. Written quotations are available upon request.
5. Delivery
You can either collect the car yourself from our showroom, or alternatively we can arrange delivery literally anywhere in mainland UK (From Lands End to John O'Groats) for a modest fee.
6. Free Warranty
To help make sure you experience trouble-free motoring, we're pleased to provide a three month mechanical parts and labour warranty free of charge. This warranty covers you against unexpected repair bills and is offered on all of our used cars.
